Default Tight git

Is there a half descent desktop publisher out there that I can download for free?

Have downloaded Page plus SE 1.0 but it isnt very good/userfriendly.

Anything else worth a look or do I need to purchase a program?

Thanks

Scribus is an extremely good alternative for Microsoft Publisher. I installed it for my friend (who had publisher before her HDD died) do I got her this and she said it's almost exactly the same.

Have installed scribus but it doesnt seem to be working very well. Keeps telling me to install ghostscript first but will not load.
Any ideas?

Just uninstall Scribus, download Ghostscript, install ghostscript, and re-install scribus.
