I got to share this deal!
My friend bought MS Office Ultimate 2007 for $60! I just bought mine last night, but you have to be a college student. The next best thing is the Home Use Program, but only big companies get this. Nevertheless, I can't believe I am getting a $700 package for 10 times less! If you are a college student, then you qualify. Microsoft says 0.5 hours of class load?! Ha! Yeah, I heard about this a few months back. At least some people are getting Office 2007 for about what it is actually worth.
![]() I'd still stick with OpenOffice though. You're getting a $700 package for ten times less, but you're still paying $60 more than you should or need to.

from what i have heard, the $60 only lets you use it as long as you are a student. If microsoft requests proof of enrollment, and you are no longer a student, you get charged the full price.
I am not 100% sure on this, i know that microsoft requires proof of enrolment, but it may be that they only require it at the time of purchase.
