Isn't it really stupid that that can happen? I've had it happen to me and it's confused the hell outta me.

What kind of outrageous crack are you smoking? Vista is by all means a lot of times worst and more pathetic than XP. Infact, I'll stick to a Win 98 rather than Vista. And please, define how can I not know how to operate a PC? Vista was suppose to be even more easier for idiots so they can attract mac buyers.

I will stick with good old XP, got enough problems with my Vista Sony laptop!

I wish they gave me the option to have XP, the more stable OS imo.

If you are having problems with vista than most likely its your fault because i have had nothing less than a great time with it!! I love vista!!! You all just need to take the plunge and learn more about vista b/c its great. From a personal perspective i think vista is great and has come along way!! If you are having problems with vist taking too much memory than chances are you dont know how to manage a pc the right way!!

Ahh that would explain the positive reaction to Vista. Wait till your out in the commercial world and then you will see the short falls of Vista.

Its a good idea in practice, but its to power hungry for commercial use at this time and from a business point of view (the ways i have to see things), there are not many benefits which validate upgrading from XP.

Then again, I'm a Linux man through and through!! Hahaha

g25racer... how and when did Vista become cool and good to use?

Wanna tell me why it's good because apparently, there's more problems than all the previous OS systems combined together.

"we" teenagers like the new, flashy, cool looking things. Vista is one of them. I was excited until I read the reviews about incompatibilities and other issues. I know to stay away from Vista for a long time.
I'm 17 BTW and I'm proud to say I'm sticking with XP.
