Default Reading Microsoft office off of a slave drive?

I just built a new computer and I am using the HD out of my old computer as a slave drive.

When I install Microsoft office on my new Master drive,,will I still be able to view and edit my old documents in MO?

NO I am talking about loading my licensed office 2003 on my newly formated
