Default what do you look for in a MB pci or pcie

Well i was looking through some ones post there comp and seeing that most MB today have more then or equal pci to pcie ports. Personaly i want more pci b/c most of my stuff is still pci (raid cards, scsi adapters, ethernet, etc) i mean i have only seen a few pcie cards...

anyway what do you want in a MB more pci or more pcie slots or about the same?

If you can see this, you have WAY TOO much time on your hand. Or you're a mod going through my sig. But if you do, copy and past this in your sig.

well it's spelled "CARE"
and your thread makes no sence, cause PCI-E and PCI are not the same, or maybe you were trying to say AGP and PCI-E ?

well i don't care about the motherboard if it has a million pci slots, but if it has a PCI-E expansion it's enough !!

lol, yeah that...

no im talking about pcie x1 or x2 not x16
but yes pci is not the same as pcie. pcie is the newer smaller version of pci. they are comming out with mainly nat cards, raid cards or a few moniter cards

I want maybe 1 or 2 PCI Express slot (not including X16 slots), and the rest PCI. Currently there aren't many devices that use PCI Express X1.
