Default Orion

Hey all,

While looking at the sky at night, I remembered that I've been noticing for the past 2 years that Orion (I think) has what looks like a black hole. I mean if you look closely, the stars look like they are at equal distance from a point which could actually be the same star under the effect of gravitational lens produced by a black hole in the center.

Am I right or is it just a coincidence?
I know it is a nebula which means it's where stars are born, but a black hole happens when a big star dies...

a black hole doesnt always happen (theoretically) when a star dies, its only under the right circumstances that one can theoretically be created, also the starts the form orion (the points and its belt) would not be influenced by said black hole should it have been created, the distance between those stars would ultimately be far too great for an effect to be had

Yeah I know how black holes form themselves, I made a whole project on it.

As far as the distance of the stars, if it is under the effect of gravitational lens, you only see one star but 3 times.

This is a single Quasar under the gravitational lens:

You see four times the single quasar. This picture was taken from Wikipedia.

I have found this webpage:

http://www.light1998.com/OSIRIS/Blac...t-of-Orion.htm

Doesn't look like the answer has been found by anyone yet
