Question Speaker Problems

Hi,

My PC came with 2 speakers (l,r) and a Subwuffer. The right speaker is giving me strange problems. Sometimes it doesn't play sounds and I have to 'bang it' on the desk for it to work. Other times I turn the dial and no sound comes out, so I turn it to off, and turn the dial back on again and it works. The right one controls the sound.

Has anyone had similar problems, or know how to help me fix this? (without buying a new set...)
