Default Live Cds

Hi, 2 quick questions: Can I burn multiple os's, say 2 or more versions of ubuntu, on one dvd, so that i can choose which one to boot of of? And also, does the cd/dvd in a live cd/dvd have to be rewritable, or can it be recordable?

I dont think you can multi-boot with one cd but maybe. The cd does not have to be rewritable as I am booting a couple different linux live cd's with just regular cd's. I then just save the docs or whatever to a usb flash drive or to my main hdd.

I'm 99% sure that it's a 'one-per' deal. Even if it's not, I wouldn't want to. As far as the type of CD/DVD, either-or will work.

Oh well... Hey, different questions, does anyone know where to get a faster ubuntu 7.10 download, from there website, the download speed fluctuated from 30 kb/s to 75kb/s to 20kb/s all in 5 minutes.

Basically you have to have a program like utorrent or azureus and you find something on a torrent site and download it through the program. If you dont know how to do that you must find info somewere else b/c talk about it on this website is against rules. We should stop now before this thread is closed and we receive infractions. Just use google for more answers.

Try the FlashGot plugin for Firefox, then download the Free Download Manager. It works extremely fast and has more sections so it downloads faster. You should be able to get your copy of Ubuntu in about 30 minutes (depending on your speed).
