Default Disc Drive Has Disappeared!

My disc drive has virtually disappeared. The D Drive doesn't even show up under My Computer. It still opens,it does show up under DXDIAG. It won' even recognize virtually drives through Daemon Tools.

I think this happened when I changed the boot order in the BIOS. I tried loading default settings and cleared the CMOS but bubkiss.

How can this be fixed?

Try unplugging the sata cable's from the drives and plug them back in. Bad connection maybe. What about a system restore? Wow, I did not know other people besides me say bubkiss!! LOL

I'll try that thanks.

But how would a bad connection make even virtual disc drives disappear? I've never heard of such a thing.
