Default Mis-spelling on purpose

This is not aimed at people who's native language is not English, nor people who's spelling is not the best.

What's your opinion on this shorthand that takes me twice as long to read ? Should I chill out and accept this is the way grammar is going?

On a message board, I think people should make more of an effort to use correct grammar and spelling. It doesn't bother me too much, but it would make the threads look cleaner and easier to read. I also think that using proper English gives an individual more credibility.

I agree, but I see it so much that I just read it like any other sentence.

It does annoy me... it's funny though, the people I know who do it have a less busy life than the ones who don't. I don't think it's so much a method of being quick, but the lazy man's way.

i agree with TFT, they should write full sentences, those kinds of "spellings" should be for Instant Messaging

I'm glad to know I'm not alone I just happen to think that on a forum where problems are discussed, then clarity in your posts should be important. Hell, I'm quite likely to make a mistake even if me or the posters grammar is "something like it" so I've no chance with this instant message speak.

Edit: It was only that one post that got to me, I'm alright now, taken a tablet and got over it

I think you haven't quite understood me, my spellings not bad, my grammar could be much improved but they are mistakes on my part not written on purpose so that wasn't the intention.
