Default Winxp Color Schemes

Winxp only comes with 3 color schemes... default blue, green, and silver
Unless you put the ugly classic mode, then you can customize as much as you want.
I know that there are programs out there to get change it, windowsblinds etc., but i just want to change that, and i don't want a program running in the background...also, i haven't found a free program that does this(windows blinds=$20 )

Is there any other way to change the color scheme of the desktop?

^^ What you're saying is absolutely incorrect. Stardock has not screwed up my computer once. Oh maybe it's because you're using Vista and the compatibility is hideous.

Windowsblind, StyleXP are probably the two you would want to look into if you were to customize your theme.

If you want free ones, Alienware offers free downloadable skins for your computer.

I didnt use it on vista!!! I used it on xp before and they seriously take away the performance of your pc. The themes are pc hogs!! Just get a real OS and stop being a wannabe!!

yeah right probably you have a wack pc
i've been using themes for years now and i don't see a lag.
Maybe combination of Iconpackager and WindowBlinds will kill your system but IconPackager and normal Msstyle sure get the job done.
And g25racer please be a bit helpful in your posts please

You just need this no need for the patch - i just download and away i go.

When you download then - double click on the file and then a theme box will pop up and done !

I'm not speaking of just emulating Vista theme. People love to customize stuff like having Alienware, Disney, etc.

Please, stop trying to prove Vista is awesome. It's not. Period.
