The Gigabyte P35-DS3L is supposed to be a very good motherboard.

Why do you insist (reddevil6) on going with a fancy case that's actually crap?

Centurion 5 or Elite 330 is much better...

I'd also go for a P35 motherboard instead of an open-box X38, an aftermarket CPU cooler and a 9600GT.

Like Paul has said, if you aren't OC'ing massive amounts, get the Arctic Cooler 7, if you want a little more headroom, check out the Tuniq Tower.

As for cases, the CM 690 is great, so is the Antec 900.

First, the E6750 is better and costs $45 less! Second, not always will you get a stable 3.0GHz and far less with the stock cooling. All CPU's are different my friend.

It is!

I agree with going with Intel. Get the GA-P35-DS3L motherboard for $50 less. Also get the E6750 or the E8400 if you can. Dual core may do a better work now than Quad core if you want a gaming computer. If you have the money though or you really want a Quad core, go for it. The Q6600 is the best choice currently.
