Default Dual Core or Dual 2 Core

Buying a laptop. Its good enough. Intel® Pentium Dual Core Processor T2370 (1.73Ghz, 533 MHz FSB, 1 MB L2 cache) or Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T5550 (1.83 GHz, 667 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache)

I know the answer is obvious but is dual 2 core worth €60 more. Budget laptop:€500 so far.

If money is pretty tight then I would stick with the Pentium Dual-Core, as it's not that much worse off then the Core 2 Duo.
