After a couple months of getting my logitech X-540 speakers, these high pitched, sort of crackling noises started coming up.
I heard them when i heard certain songs or videos, i figured the volume was too high or because the frequency was higher than the speakers could handle but Im just guessing.. Theories anyone?

hhhmmm - i beleive they have been known to play up - so i would say it is the sound card. i would have a look at the condition of the card and go from there.
