I use 64bit and do have an nvidia driver issue. It's something to do with EDID monitor profiles not being accepted. It doesn't affect everyone (there is a growing list of unhappy people on the nvidia forums though) and hopefully nvidia will fix it soon. Basically it means that sometimes when Windows logs in that the monitor goes blank and I have to unplug it and plug it back in. Other than that drivers have been fine.

I'd like the people that recommended the 32 bit version to say why. If your hardware supports it, I see no real reason not to get the 64 bit version of Vista.

Well Ive decided im going to get the 64bit that way Ill be able to add more ram later on... I heard about the driver issue when vista came out, but apparently they fixed all the glitches.

Omega, i agree man, i would like to hear why people like the 32 over the 64

Aren't (lack of) drivers and compatibility the only reason to get 32 bit over 64 bit? But it seems this actually isn't an issue.

There (AFAIK) is a lack of drivers for 64bit XP, but for 64bit Vista everything should be O.K.

I also wanted to remind everyone that I've been hearing stuff about the lack of 64bit XP drivers being untrue... an I've been hearing the other stuff too... but since it's vista we're talking about, let's not go off topic.
