Sony Vaio Laptop...NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

ok so i have a sony vaio laptop and as of right now i am only upgrading my ram from 1g to 2g to make it faster...my goal is to make my laptop just fast instead of buying a new one...my question is should i buy a new processor and if so what should i buy and i want the best... also what else could i upgrade....thanks ...

Specs- intel(r) pentium(r) m processor 1.86GHz 1.87GHz( this is what my laptop says in MY Computer Properties
-running on windows vista ultimate on 1014 mb of ram

It's pretty much impossible to upgrade a laptop processor, ram's usually the only way to go but you definitely need to as much as possible since you're running vista ultimate.

just get some more RAM. But do you know if you have one stick of 1gb RAM or 2 sticks of 512mb ram? Laptops usally only have to slot for RAMs.
