Haha! Nicely put, Dave!
![]() Well, I turn it off in the evenings. But if I go out during the day, I'll put it on Standby.

I always turn it off when I am finished with it. I guess power supplies last longer as 1) it gets a chance to cool down and 2) its fan plus the fans in the case don't perpetually suck in and blow around dust.
About dust--I wash my fans in the dishwasher, and I washed my motherboard from my older Compaq I don't care about last week in it too. I wouldn't reccommend trying it but I am a clean freak and have a Level 5 obsessive-compulsive with cleanliness. (BTW, the motherboard works!) |
