Default Yes!!bsod!!!

alright so my laptop is being {sarcasm} awesome {/sarcasm}

prettywell 6/10 times when i bring it out of stand by it BSOD's on me

it gives me this
0x0000007F(0x00000008,0x80042000,0x00000000,0x0000 0000)

i tried google, but i cant sift through it all

*to queen* can annnnnyy boooody finnnnddd meeeeeeeee.... some help

hmm not exactly

i used the thinkpad update utility about a month ago, but i dont think it updated anything like that and it has been doing it for the passsst 4 months or so

Back up, reformat and reinstall your OS

haha yea i was kinda afraid of that, its my college lap top so technically it needs to all be done by them, but i figure ill get an external and back it up then wait till summer and put my own OS on it... i guess il just try to use hibernate..

One of three types of problems occurred in kernel-mode: (1) Hardware failures. (2) Software problems. (3) A bound trap (i.e., a condition that the kernel is not allowed to have or intercept). Hardware failures are the most common cause (many dozen KB articles exist for this error referencing specific hardware failures) and, of these, memory hardware failures are the most common.
