Default Audio Error

I've installed my audio drivers, and everything works fine for awhile after I re-boot, but then I see the following error..

Then My sound goes out and when I click my volume control I get this..

But I was able to adjust my volume for a few minutes after re-booting.. Then it acts like it's not installed, but in device manager it's there and no problems.. Any Ideas?..

PS.. I've tried un-installing and re-installing the drivers, and even running CCleaner, with no luck..

What drivers are you reinstalling? Have you tried older drivers? How about system restore? Could you restore your system to the setup prior to updating the drivers?

I am re-installing my audio drivers(Realtek high definition audio).. See I just built this pc, and transferred my hard drive to this new build, and I am installing the drivers that came with the mother board..

The sound works for awhile, but then the first error pops up and the sound stops working.. After I ran the CCleaner and rebooted, it didn't come up till hours later, which usually it came up within a few minutes after rebooting..

Oh and I ran spybot, and nothing was found, so I am clueless as to what it could be..

My only advice would be to try other drivers, either newer, older, or by another source (generic Realtek ones?) I'm not surprised you're not find problems with those scans as I doubt it is related to viruses or spyware. Probably just some little bug somewhere that needs to be ironed out. Worst case, if you just built (and apparently loaded) the machine, reloading it should fix it.
