Exclamation Cursor Wont Move ?!

i need major help with my desktop computer,

yesterday i was looking at computerforum and while scrolling down, i tried to click on a link but my cursor wouldnt move

i tried to restart and cold shutdown but still it stayed in the middle, i even swapped my second hard drive that also has windows vista, and even on that one , the cursor wont move and is stuck in the middle,

the keyboard works but the mouse doesnt.

ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WAT HAPPENED ???!!! please help ?

Two possible solutions here. I'm assuming you have a PS/2 mouse:
1. Uninstall mouse driver in Device Manager, reboot, try again with known-working mouse.
2. Dead mouse port on motherboard.

thanks for the reply , but i solved it by rebooting Vista.....such a F***ing hassle .......... thanks
