Thanks. I'm using an IBM T41. I rolled back the driver for the Intel Pro/1000 MT Mobile Network Connection. That did it. I now get the annoying cable unplugged from XP while wireless, but at least my ipconfig command works.
Driver that caused the ipconfig crash: 8.10.1.0 (11/7/2007) Driver I rolled back to that makes ipconfig work: 6.4.16.36 (6/13/03) I wonder if it has any other effect on my system. I also haven't been able to connect to a Mac with Tiger. Maybe now the shares will work. |
