Default Yet ANOTHER piantball thread.

Scroll to the bottom and choose green or blue if you dont want to read my lifes story .

So normally I would go on the interwebnets and find a forum that specialized in what I was going to ask. The only problem is from several they are so sick and tired of "what gun should I get?" and will ban you if you ask there. So I decided to ask here.

Now granted, It IS user opinion, but in order to get an opinion I would have to have the chance to shoot the gun, and its very hard to when all your friends just use the stores crappy rentals (spyder victors) and the closest paintball store is 40 miles away.

But I figure Ill ask here. Now, Im in no way a pro, Ive played a couple of times, but dont intend to get "into" the game. But for an upcoming summer event it requires you have your own gun. Ive been online and checking specs, comparing prices and such and what not and I think I have it narrowed down to two.

Either (BTW woodsball, and I already have a mask/hopper/air),

A-Spyder MR1 (roughly $80) and be able to play more rounds (paint is $64 a case!).

B-Tippmann 98 custom ($120) and only play a little bit.

If you want to post your own suggestion go ahead, but Im leaning towards a gun with a rail so I can place on my sights/flashlights. .

Also, I intend to buy from actionvillage, whats your opinion? Know any place better?

EDIT: Yeah, I misspelled the title, paintball, could I get that changed?

i would say the 98 for as often as you use it, my friend has one, and i think its a great gun, if you have extra to spend the the a5 or whatever it is my 2 cents

Hmm, I think Ill just compromise.

Ill get the PCS US-5. Its a rip off of the 98 with the cheapness of an mr1, 100$.

Thanks for the input. If you guys still suggest a different gun though, I might consider .
