Hello
My bookmarks jut vanished, not the bookmarks tab but everything I had bookmarked in Firefox. -Does anyone know how this could happen? -Is there a way to retrieve them? -Would putting PC back to an earlier date work? Thanks for any help! Rob |

I assume you are running Windows, so look in this folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*\bookmarkbackups - USER is your username - * is whatever your Firefox has named your profile You should find some HTML backups, which you can then Import by opening Firefox browser and doing the following: 1) Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks... 2) In the dialog that opens: File -> Import -> From File 3) Navigate to the folder listed above and choose one of your backup HTML files That should work. You may need to use the Organize Bookmarks dialog to move things around how you like them.

This is why you use Foxmarks!!! Gosh I love firefox addons!! Foxmarks automatically updates and uploads your bookmarks to the website everytime you exit firefox. If you want your bookmarks on another pc all you do is install the addon into that firefox and login to your account and it downloads and updates the bookmarks!

for saving bookmarks, cookies, saved passwords, addons, themes, etc that you have on firefox use FEBE. imo it's the most useful addon for FF
