I have a labtop and when I bought it like about a year ago, vista just came out after I bought my labtop
And now that I am in college, the whole campus uses Vista! and I have the old windows on my labtop and my desktop. Any easy way to get Vista? anyone have a copy they could maybe send me? I really need it for school. thanks

There's a link on this page to the upgrade advisor which should tell you whether you will be able to run Vista or not:
