Hope this is the right forum for this. About 6 months ago a ballon popped up saying "USB Device not recognized". After that it would pop up at random times. This seemed to happen after I disconnected my MP3 player. MP3 player works fine. Have read other story's about this and it seems to be a common problem with no fixes. When I click on the bubble to check this out I get the message "Unknown device-Device status-"No drivers are installed for the device". Then the messages stopped for a couple of months but they are back. Have not used my MP3 player so I don't know why this message pops up. 50% of the time when the message pops up it will go away on it's own in about 10 seconds. Other times it won't. Any ideas where I start? I have Windows XP Home edition. Computer has 8 USB ports,4 in back(printer plugged in)and 4 in front. Thanks for the help!
