I think you have this wrong. Are you are wanting to connect an mp3 player directly to a flash drive and have it work?
Ipods cant do this. I dont think any mp3 player can do this. Are you wanting the mp3 player to ACT as a flash drive when plugged into the pc? Then yeah, almost all of them can do this.

I don't know what you mean by USB in, but the Creative Zen V Plus is good (I would recomment the ZEN because it's better, but I've never used it.)

Well you have a good point their. My friend uses his 30GB ipod for music and uses it as a USB or at least use to until he got he Mac Book Pro (which i'm on now) and it is a very good idea.

Yeah, most the big storage mp3 player have a big screen which the portable HDD lack of. You can show your pictures or video collection to you friends. My iriver can listen to the music and watch pictures on the same time. Very enjoyable! I think ipod can do the same too.

Thanks for the responses guys.It looks like after investigating that they do not make one with a usb in.Most of the MP3 players I looked at have the mini cards for external applications.
I ordered one of these to try out.http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=MP4_2801K4 Its sort of a poor mans version of the I touch but smaller.Looks like good reviews and good battery life.Gonna try it out and report back.IF I dont like it I may send it back for a refund or sell it on ebay. |
