Default Hard Drive Question

Got this question from uni, makes very little sense to me. any help would be vastly appreciated

If, for a given computer, the operating system, utilities, application software and data will occupy 170Gb of main store, (with a further 100Gb reserved for future use). What size disk should be specified to support all this along with 64Gb of virtual memory?

Thanks

Mike
