Default Asus or EVGA?

I'm not talking about brand in general. I'm talking about these two particular boards I have selected. I am looking for gaming performance by the way. Some of the reviews on the Asus board make it look a bit risky to buy, but the EVGA is more exspensive. I also plan to eventually run two GX2's.

Question I have on this board is that someone said something about needing special RAM or something? Apparently it wouldn't work with his 64bit Vista if he used all 8GB, but 6GB worked for him

Keep reading bios errors and the board being buggy in general.

Should I try the Asus, or would the EVGA be worth the extra money? Or do you possibly have a board of your own to offer? No more than $300, has to have 2 PCI 2.0/x16 slots, DDR2 up to 8GB of 800Mhz, and I'd prefer an nvidia 700 series chipset or better.

I saw that one before, but I want 2 PCI-E ports, and that one doesn't have that great of a chipset.

The only other one that looks good is that MSI, but apparently someone got tons of BIOS errors while on XP. I think the EVGA one is looking the best to me right now.

And the motherboard doesn't have to be from newegg. I'm probably buying my CPU from tigerdirect, so that's open as well.
