Default X-Fi Help

After reading many reviews I'm thinking about putting a sound card back in and not using onboard anymore.

I'm looking at either:

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer 7.1 Sound Card - OEM

or

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic 7.1 Sound Card - OEM

The XtremeMusic is £1.18 more but which is actually better? I play games more than I listen to music.

It's basically the same. The gamer uses a low profile PCB and has HD audio headers. However you cannot use the breakout box or the other external device. The Xtrememusic uses a full size PCB and can utilize the breakout box, but doesn't have HD audio headers.

Go with the XtremeMusic, unless you are talking about the XtremeGamer Fatal1ty.
