Default Sony cybershot / Samsung NV

Is this a good camera?

First thing that I'd like to mention is that when I buy a camera, I like the slim types. Like sony cybershit, samsung NV, etc.. With that said, I would like to buy either a sony cybershot or a samsung NV.

Now I used to have a sony cybershot but I believe someone stole it. I loved the look and it took great pictures. However while I was surfing around I saw a samsung camera that look amazing. It was slim just like a cybershot. Here's the picture

However it has only 2/5. One says it takes good pictures and other says it takes bad pictures. Therefore, I'd like to ask you people if it actually takes good pictures by reading the facts since I'm not really into cameras.

Another thing I'd like to say is, if I decide to buy a sony cybershot, which would be a good cybershot? I would like a slim kind.

Third and last question, Which would you prefer

Around $200 would be great. Thank You

Have you considered the Nikon Coolpix range?

I have a mate who has the above camera and it's great.

If you can up your budget a little, go for this one.

My Wife has the P5100, and all I can say is Wow!!! For the price, you get one hell of a camera. The menu is very easy to understand, great image quality, and a very clear 2.5 inch LCD at the back.

I own a Sony Cybershot DSCW55 7MP. I bought it a few months ago for about $175. I also use a 2GB memory stick and I've never completely filled it up before being able to dump to my PC.

It's a great, lightweight camera and the pictures are excellent. Even the video recording is excellent and is actually better quality than my Sony Handycam DCR-DVD108 ($360 camcorder) video quality.
