Use nTune, it is much more simple and easy to use. RivaTuner seems to have potential but I could never figure it out all the way.

How do I use nTune to do it. I saw no fan options.

It is actually called Nvidia control panel, but once you have that you click on adjust gpu settings and it is easy from there.

It just said I already have a newer version. Then when I tried to run any of the apps they didn't work.
