Default backup software

I am looking for some free software that will backup my selected data, compress it and then burn that file to CD-R when it is scheduled to run. Does anyone know of such software? Please let me know.

Thumbs up

Get an external Hard drive and copy your "whole" hard drive onto it.... done.

Cause if you loose the discs or they get damaged your stuffed.
