linksys ftw!! i had a dlink wifi router and had nothing but problems. got a linksys now and i havnt had to do anythin since i first set it up (about 8 months ago now)

I can attest to Linksys and D-Link to doing what they were supposed to do when I used them. Don't know if I could say either one is 'better' than the other, but I voted Linksys

After tweaking DHCP settings, my Linksys has been rock-solid reliable for a full year.
Watch. Now it'll explode on me two days after the warranty ends... Tom

My netgears been runnin well for a few years now, an its pretty user friendly too!
Not had much luck with D-Link, got one as a replacement for my netgear, the Gateway keeps dropping out, upgrade page doesn't even like its own firmware & I have problems with the free wireless dongle that came free with it, loves to randomly not see the network, when the adapter in my notebook does 100% of the time. Draytek & Zyxel are 2 of the best IMO, netgear following shortly after

yeah out of my experince this is the order i see it
1) cisco 2) linksys 3) netgear 4) d-link 5) other comp 6) other comp -------------- 7) other comp 8) other comp 9) other comp 10) belkin yes belkin does stink that bad. HORABLE custamer support (when i got a n router the guy told me i could not have a hardwire firewall!!!! uh yeah sure , HORABLE product, and they just fail! DO NOT UNDER ANY CURCUMSTANCE go with them!!!btw the line seperates good from horable |
