I saw a benchmark for one of those ages ago and it seemed to offer a mild improvement when in online games like Battlefield (i.e. >40 players). So much so that I nearly bought one. I didn't in the end because I wanted to wait until they got popular or someone else got one, but they never really took off. In fact this is the first time I have ever heard someone on this forum mention one.

I would be very wary, the reviews on newegg are all over the place and for that price, I don't think you should get one unless a model comes out that gets near perfect reviews, just to be on the safe side.
