It's most probably a malware infection.
I will not be helping you(because I'm still under training), but rather, I'm helping the Mods and all other members.

Download HijackThis to a permanent folder such as My Documents\HijackThis.

After the download is complete, navigate to the folder where you have saved HijackThis.exe .
  1. Double click on HijackThis to open the tool.
  2. Close all other open windows and click on "Do a system scan and save a logfile".
  3. After the scan is complete, please copy and paste your log here.
Thank you

When a PC freezes up it has nothing to do with dialup internet access.
Whenever my Win95 DEC system froze up it was from CPU overheating. Yes, a 133MHz Pentium 1. Forcing more air through the heatsink with a piece of cardboard on the fan solved that problem.
Like adarsh says, it could also be a malware infection.
What OS are you using? Any other system specs?
Tom

Software can't die or "faultitize" ()... And although software can freeze the computer, this internet software couldn't do squat except freeze ITSELF.
