The speaker is the simplest one. It works fine on my old HP. However, on my new Dell Inspiron 530, the sound is so weak. I have set all kinds of volume to maximum. What do you think is the problem? Do I have to buy an expensive speaker? (my monitor is DVI linked, in contrast, on my old HP computer the monitor is VGA lined, could that be a problem)
Thanks! |

On first impression i think its a problem of sound card, may be a weaker or lower quality sound card chip, which sound card is in your system try to replace this sound card with better one may be this will help you.

How weak is it? A laptop's speaker, from a 1995 laptop to a 2008, should be quite strong...
