Any suggestions for remote access to home machine and run applications?
Hi,
I would like to securely access my home machine from office, and run the applications on it. Would anyone please recommend what type of machine I should purchase, PC, Mac, or Server, which kind of system I should have, Windows XP, vista, Linux, or Windows 2003 server edition etc. what are the optimal system requirements? I am using .Net, and I also like to install SQL to my machine. The ideal scenario would like this: My machine is in US home. I travel to Japan, and I need to run the applications on my home machine from a local machine in Japan, and display the output. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks alot. R. |
