Hey, a little while ago a friend of mine had his computer wiped clean and reinstalled everything due to a virus attack. The reinstall fixed most things but the audiodrivers went missing and hence there is no sound comin out whatsoever.
So how do you find out what audio thingy you have and how do you find the appropriate drivers? His computer is an unmodified HP Pavillion PC. We couldn't find the exact model but its about 3-4 years old so perhaps HP used a specific kind of audio thingy as a standard around that time? |

Search the mother board name + drivers and then you should find a link there to download drivers.
