Default Battery from Laptop not able to be recharged

My Sony Vaio SZ 23's battery wasnt able to recharge after I used it for about an hour and a half. I have no idea what to do now because it has about 10 minutes of battery left... I can still boot it up but only for 10 minutes

HELP!!!

If it charges at all, it's probably a shorted cell in the battery. There's really nothing you can do besides get it replaced. Assuming the laptop's fairly new, it should be covered by the warranty.

One of my good friends had a Dell for about 3 months and the battery completely died. I hate to say it but this isn't a very uncommon problem...

From what I've read, you're lucky to get a year out of a laptop battery, especially if it's on a charge-discharge cycle of a couple of times a week. Daily cycling will kill it even faster.

there are some battery calibration software. But i didn't have any benefit using them. You will end up replacing your batt.
