Default XP Admin user questions

I bought a use computer. Ok so maybe you guys wouldn't but I did. I am happy with it so far. Very good deal for the money. Anyway on with the questions.

There was one user account when I got it. I created a new user account with my name and deleted the other one. Although when I go to control panel and look at user accounts it is not listed anymore. But the files are still there if I use explore to see files. What gives with this?

Next. If I am logged on and I go away from the computer for a period of time, lets say 30 minutes and come back, I am still logged on and don't have to enter my password again as I did on my old computer. So I have to make sure I log off anytime i am walking away from my computer for awhile. Is there a way to change this so it goes back to the loggin screen after a set amount of time? Thanks,

Ken

1. If you're talking about the files in "Documents and Settings" folder, I think they can be safely deleted (the ones associated with deleted accounts, I mean)

2. Go to Display Properties -> Screen Saver, choose a ss you like & set the idle time to, say, 10 minutes or so, and check "On resume, display Welcome screen". Click OK and you're done
