I haven't tried it as I'm on Vista, so I can't say if it works or not...

"This DirectX 10 for windows XP still in alpha stages and isn’t the original of DirectX 10 files from Microsoft. As Microsoft has announced that the DirectX 10 currently support to Windows Vista only. However, Cody Brocious the Alky Project leader has released a full preview of DirectX 10 Alky preview compatibility libraries for Microsoft DirectX 10 enabled games."
That doesn't sound safe to me.. If Microsoft supports it, I might give it a try..

We'll see, there's a chance of it being a gimmick. Like, you might think its in dx10, when its actually not, even though it may say it is.
