haha, yeah loan or bust! Hopefully they haven't found out though. I have friends in this complex that have been living here for years and they never had to pay a pet deposit. So it might be about something else. I have a few complaints about our A/C system (small leak) and our garbage disposal (HUGE leak). I fixed them both myself using my supplies and my money, I'd like a reimbursement or I'll remove my fix and make them redo it using their own supplies/money.

Hm. You should try what my family used to do.
Our landlady lived 150 miles away, but we took care of whatever repairs we could do ourselves so that we wouldn't have to go through the BS of arranging for repair people, getting her permission, or getting repaid. All expenses for parts, tools, etc. just got deducted from the rent payment check we submitted, along with the receipts. It was worth giving her free labor just to not have her in our hair. Worked great for over seven years.

They might go for that deal, providing I have all the receipts. I'm pretty sure I do. If I'm not in trouble when I inquire about the note, I'll bring it up.

a firewall is like a gate. it keeps the bad people out and the dog in but it's not fool proof. but lets say you download and run an infected program. that will be like letting in a "friend." if it's infected you run that program you can get malware. that's like a friend raping your family and stealing your money.
