ok i know i have done a few threads about this latly but i have it down to 2 things i will do.
i will sell my AMD 6000+ am MA770-DS3 for more than it is worth brand new an get phenom 9850 gigabyte MA790x-DS4 or i will just getthe same CPU an better MOBO an another video card AMD-6000+ gigabyte MA790x-DS4 ATI 3870 an run it in crossfire with my other one what would be my better choise.

Dual video cards will be better for gaming, as not many games can effectively utilize all 4 cores. Plus, phenoms aren't that great in the first place.

I say get the same CPU since Phenoms aren't supposed to be much good. Why not go intel though if you are selling? Their overclockability makes them the better deal.

Last time I checked buying two 3870's is cheaper then getting one X2... Atleast over here that's the facts.

an i already have 1 3870 so it is going to be cheaper to get 1 more 3870 than buying a 3870x2

are they equal though? i thought crossfire is inefficient and doesn't create double the performance. for that matter, does a 3870 X2?
