ARGHH!!

No seriously.

Apocalyptic stuff, XP is the only think that isn't all bad (Bolded "all").

I can definitely see a huge user group staying behind on XP, anyone agree? (I for one will be a member.)

HI,
Gee, I hate to tell you guy's this but it is the nature of the game. OS's have a life cycle. If you refuse to move on it is your decision but a bad one in my view. Get used to it. The software world will not change just because you don't like it. Besides Vista is better.

I have a very sharp friend who refuses to move past Windows '98. He hates the MS scrutiny imposed on the later OS's. I think he has a point but it's not enough for me to become stagnant. A computer is a tool and nothing more. Like a pair of pliers. I want the best, most versitile, most advanced, highest performing, and most up to date tool available. It is not a romantic relationship.

OK i see but still they should at least keep XP going maybe when they bring out another OS after it maybe but still they should keep it because a lot of people are having faults with windows vista so they end up going back to XP...

+1

Everyone is so used to the initial release of Vista where there were several driver and program incompatibilities. Now though with SP1, almost all if not all manufacturers have drivers available for Vista, almost all new and older programs will work with it as well. The most annoying thing is the UAC, however that can easily be disabled.

Once you get used to it, Vista is a great OS. I won't go back to XP.

Yup!! I am kinda enjoying xp on my virtual machine but my full time os is vista!! I would never go back to using xp as a full time os! Vista is way ahead of xp.
