You can't compare top graphics cards like this, by simply asking which is the best?

It's the same as asking which is better, Nokia Phones or Motorola? Actually, they are both good, but when comparing, you will have to compare a certain phone to another, for example, Nokia 6600 with Motorola whatever.

It's not fair for example to compare an ATI card of 256 MB with another GeForce with 64 MB

For AGP, We can all agree Geforce has a much better selection for the dollar.

Guarantee it. This is coming from a die hard 3dfx/ATI fan, who just had to order a Geforce because ATI cannot produce a COMPETITIVE AGP card for under $200.

As for PCI-EXPRESS, not sure..

Im a all Nvidia man myself but I learned from testing them out not on purpose just from my old computer I had 2 ATI cards in it got 1 right after the other since they weren't living up to there standards yet. So after the second one I went and got a Nvidia Geforce 4ti 4200 and it totally made my life much easier so I will never go back to ATI proble but who knows what might happen in the future.

I had a Voodoo3, then Geforce2, then Radeon 8500, and a GF 6800GT is on it's way. Feature wise, I've always liked ATI's theater mode(which I asked about a few weeks before it was in the driver update...makes you wonder -.-) I guess we'll see how I like Geforce again.

Honestly, I wasn't too trilled with my GF2's performace back when it was new... It's like it used more resorces or something than the ATI does, and would lock my computer up for a second every so often in games. THis was not with anything too hard, either...

computer shopper and pcmag both did tests for ATI and nVidia lines of graphics cards, i think they tested the ATI Radeon 9800 pro all the way up to the Radeon X850XT PE card, vs the GeForce line from the 6600 to the 6800GT model, and results were, based on the numbers, pretty much similar. I couldn't find the link i wanted, but this is similar to what I read before:
