Hi
Please can anyone advise. I've used hotmail (free account) for years. For work purposes I need to store many contacts. I really need to be able to search the notes attached to the contacts (as a writer, I want to be able to look up someone I've spoke to in the past who's had a pacemaker whose name I can't remember for example). You can't do this in hotmail, nor in a any other free email I imagine? I could set up a simple excel contacts database and so be able to search. However, I then won't be able to send emails direct from hotmail, I'd have to copy and paste all the time. I think I could email directly with entourage (I have a mac) set as my default email. I've tried to use entourage to use with my hotmail - you can't search notes in entourage directly but can through spotlight (not ideal but OK) – but it says I need a premium account. Anyway ideally I would like a web-based software I can access anywhere as I'm freelance. Basically just a web-based email provider, free, with searchable notes! Is that too much to ask?! Alternatively I want something offline that's common, like excel, I can access from most computers via my pen drive, that I can email easily from at least from home. Any ideas anyone? Cheers Claudia. |
