I have laptop running windows xp home edition
can someone walk me through on how to change the time chkdsk checks my computer on start up it keeps cancilling on me before it is done. How do I change the time it uses to scan - so it will scan longer and not time out. Thanks not sure what is cancilling it out Last edited by loribryan; 04-22-2008 at 02:07 AM. |

chkdsk does not have a timeout feature, if it is cancelling then something other than chkdsk is causing this.
