Amm... Some 320MB is now $120, actually not too bad for the price.
Edit: but 8800GS is still better choice than 8800GTS 320MB

i want to keep it under £1000( im from the UK ) im basicly want to narrow the cost as good as possible stuff but still be the best.. if u get me.

i would go for a good solid motherboard like the p35-ds3l, an e8400, your 8800GTS, and 2x2GB sticks of ddr800, cl4 if possible.

think i will go with the e8400 and the XFX gforce 8800 gts 512mb.. thats all i know so far. woundnt DDR2 memory be better?

yea get PC2-6400 with a Cas Latency of 4 or 3 you can't beat it.
