Just a quick question guys, the blue LED side fan in the picture above was installed from the factory to exhaust air, with a 120mm rear fan exhausting as well. Is this a mistake? I was under the impression that it would be best to have the side fan intaking cold air as it is directly above the CPU.

How many intake fans do you have. It's probably a good idea to flip that around if you only have one other intake fan.

sorry there is 1 intake right below it (near video card), 120mm intake at the front, and a 80mm blowing cold air onto the HDD on the right side of the case.

Typically you want to have the same number as intakes as outputs when it comes to fans or slightly more outputs. I would say, swap the one that is pointed directly at the cpu fan to blow inward and swap the side one below it to blow out.

Side, front intake = Blowing in
Rear and top fans = blowing out. "Heat rises" That's probably why the PSU is always located on the top of the case ![]()
