That is, I have a couple Windows XP Pro machines and I would like to change them to server 2003 machines without loosing my data/installed programs.
Anyone know if/how this can be done? Putting in the CD while in XP and selecting "upgrade" does not work, obviously. |

They are really two completely different operating systems, so I don't believe there is a way to upgrade. A lot of applications and drivers that run on XP, won't work on Server 2003, and you may need to get special drivers for your hardware.
